HD video with surround audio

Is there a way to use surround audio with 1080i video?
I guess not because HD2000 wants muxed stream, but I wanted to ask just to be sure.

    You can mux dolby 5.1 audio into a video. I know of customers who are using HD video with 5.1 out. You can contact me directly at <!-- e --><a href="mailto:lallydice@roku.com">lallydice@roku.com</a><!-- e -->.



    What program are you using to create your hd videos? And, once created, do you want to output raw ac3 to your receiver?

    are you having trouble outputting the audio to analog, or creating the video with the audio included?
