BrightSign HD1010 error when sending UDP response
I have an HD1010 unit. It is running firmware version 3.1.73. I created a project in BrightAuthor v2.0.0.18 where I am using custom UDP strings to play clips. I also set up the HD1010 to send a UDP response back as feedback to allow me to know that the player is indeed playing the appropriate clip. When I try to send out my custom UDP string to play back a clip, the unit flashes the error LED and resets. However, if I go into my BrightAuthor project and just remove the UDP response from the clips, everything works fine and I can trigger playback using my custom UDP string. I have tried updating the firmware on the HD1010 to 3.2.61 and 3.2.67. I get the same result no matter what version of firmware the unit is running. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you very much.
