Using the EM100 expansion module

 Hi there,

I'm looking at using the HD1010 player along with the EM100 expansion module.

We need to use 6 inputs and 6 outputs. The inputs will be attached to buttons that will trigger a video file. The outputs are used to trigger lights when a button is pressed.

For example:

  • Button 1 > Input 1 > Video file 1 > Light 1
  • Button 2 > Input 2 > Video file 2 > Light 2
  • Button 3 > Input 3 > Video file 3 > Light 3
  • Button 4 > Input 4 > Video file 4 > Light 4
  • Button 5 > Input 5 > Video file 5 > Light 5
  • Button 6 > Input 6 > Video file 6 > Light 6

I've tried using the scripts that were posted on the forum, as well as editing the autorun.brs file and XML file as described in some threads, but have not been able to get the expansion unit to work. If we just use 4 inputs and 4 outputs on an HD1010 (without the EM100), using BrightAuthor to publish the script, it works perfectly. I'm using BrightAuthor v2.0.0.44 and the HD1010 with formware v3.7.50.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Please send the modified script, the standalone, one you tried to change but didn't work. Send it to support @ brightsign.biz so we can see what's wrong. Did you get errors trying to use it, or did only work partially. Please include this info when you send the details in.

    was there a resolve to this? i am looking to do the same thing.
