RSS feeds from Sharepoint 2010

Hello all, I was wondering if anybody has had any luck in getting the brightsign units to read in an rss feed from sharepoint 2010. I have setup anonymous access to my rss feed and tested this in the browser. I am able to add the rss feed to brightauthor but when i push the presentation to the units i cant see the RSS portion. It just shows blank. Any suggestion are appreciated.

the brightsign displays the contents of the description tag. If your content is in the title, then it wouldn't show.

I have put some content in the description and still no luck. Do you have any more ideas?

    Hi Lyndon,

I cant as the feed is from our internal sharepoint site and is not published to the web.

Joshua,  I had a similar issue of getting an RSS feed to display.  Just like you, I could see it via browser but not when using the BrightSign.  I worked on it for a while and thought that this should not be this hard.  Finally, I uninstalled my latest version of Bright Author and installed version 1 of the software.  I went through the RSS setup the same way that I did in the new version of BA and low and behold, it worked!  In my case regarding RSS feeds Bright Author 1 is better than version 2.  Try it and see if that works for you.
