I will be nice, that the box could have a video input, so for example, we could have regular broadcast in part of the screen, and in other part of the screen, and digital sing, or for example we program de box to see a NFL game Monday Night, and very 20 minutes it appear a commercial o display of a product and at the end it shows again, de football.

Things like that

    So you would want the brightsign to have an actual tv tuner so it could receive signals directly? Or, would a video input be sufficient? What about streaming video the the brightsign over the network?

    May be both, a BOX with TV Turner, Video Input (HDMI) and Composite video input, with stereo input, beside streaming video, that will make de box more versatil. Remeber stream video will stress the network and we will nead a pc or server to do that. In some aplication like restaurants there is no much to stream they already have regular TV Broadcast Monitors. So it is posible for example to have NFL footlball, and we program roku to divide de screen, and place some advertising, and then return to de game and son on.
