MPEG 1080i Encoding guidelines

I seem (read Brightsign) seem to have some trouble to play HD mpg files.
Can you tell me anything about the MPG 1080i encoding guidelines for the
Brightsign HD2000?

IE:
what kind of stream?
stream packet sizes?
elementary video stream profile?
Recommended video PID numbers?
etc. etc.

    I'm not sure where you have read that, but the HD2000 plays HD files properly...



    Max bit rate is 25Mbps

    Audio 48Khz, with the current software

    Must be Program Stream (elementary not supported)



    I don't know of any specific packet size or other requirements.



    We have sample hd vides on our ftp site. I'll email you the link.

    I downloaded your autoplay.zip and in the read me.txt found the following information relating to 1080i files.  It mentions that 1080i mode is not working.



    Is this correct?

    The following "Known Problems" Occur when using this script and BrightSign software version 1.1.28:

    - 1080i mode is not working

    To clarify, 1080i mode is not yet implemented on HD600 v1.1.28.

    1080i mode is functional on HD2000 v1.1.20.
