HD2000 - General BrightSign Network Manager Question

First off, I love the interface. Very easy to maneuver on first go round. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> But, I haven't really looked at it too closely yet, I was reading the user's manual.

Before I go and update my software to the beta, Is there a way to use the Network Manager without an ethernet connection? Currently the location of the box is not accessible by ethernet connection, and was wondering if there is a way to use the new software and the Network Manager to create a show, drop it onto a CF/SD card and simply plug it into the box.

I was trying to click on the "help" button on the Network Manager page, but I think the link to that page is dead.

    There's a roundabout way to do it. If you have all of the files that are in the presentation.



    -Create the presentation on the website

    -Copy the files you put in the presentation onto the flash card

    -On the website, on the Myfiles page, select your presentation.

    -Then, scroll to the bottom of the list of files in the presentation, and click the "edit" link next to the playlist, "autoplay.bsp".

    -A popup window will appear. Click on the "autoplay.bsp" link, and choose to save the text file to your hard drive. Copy "autoplay.bsp" to your flash card.

    -Copy the autoplay script, autorun.bas, to your flash card as well. You should be using version 2.0.35 or later of the autoplay script.

    Yay!  Thank you.  I thought that would be a viable way of doing so.  



    I have one other question.  Will the lines in the autoplay.bsp

    NetworkTimerRange 22 240 Download
    NetworkTimerPeriodic 60 Heartbeat





    have issues with reading from the network? Or will they be ignored?

    They won't interfere with playback, but you can remove them.

    Where would I find autorun.bas version 2.0.35?  I must be blind or something as I can't find it anywhere <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: --> .
