Component AND HDMI to VGA cable

Im trying to hook up my 2000 to a projector via component RGB(which works) and then also send the video to a plasma via the hdmi port with a HDMI to VGA (rgb) cable. The reason for the HDMI to VGA is that I am trying to extend the signal with an extron ethernet extender
(TP T 15HD A TP - Twisted Pair Transmitter for RGBHV and Audio) http://www.extron.com/product/product.a ... ubtype=217
It only has a VGA port on it.

Will the 2000 output video from both ports at the same time? or should I just split the Component signal?

Both component and hdmi are active at the same time. There's even a signal on the vga out, but it requires an adapter to work.

I do have a projector that has a VGA passthrough, but as im sure you know the videos are red. And as per the manual, changing the resolution to 1024x768 'i think' would mess me up as im using an 720p file that is 16x9.

    Patrick,

Does your project support 1366x768. That resolution is in testing on 2.x beta software.

Also, I want to make sure I didn't ignore your original question. Were you asking if it was possible to adapt the hdmi to vga?
