HD2000 vs HD1010

Several months ago we purchased an HD2000 to evaluate it as a digital signage solution. We liked it and I came back to purchase 5 more units when I discovered the HD1010. Is it reasonable to run 1 HD2000 and 5 HD1010's in a hybrid environment, or should we go entirely with HD2000's?

Thanks,

Evan

You can use the units in a mixed enviroment.  There are some differences. How are you using the units now?

For example, the HD2000 has an extra usb port, a cf slot, and 2 extra analog ports. Extra ports are available on the 1010 via expansion.

Are the units networked together? Synchronized?

The extra inputs/ports aren't necessary. They will be networked and some will be synchronized.

Lyndon, will the networking or synchronization be an issue in a mixed environment? We need to order the new units ASAP. Also, any tips for getting the sales people to call me back? I've left two phone messages <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
