Brightsign 110 help (randomize, metadata)

Playing with a Brightsign 110HD (i believe, as I see no Model designation on the box).


I'm wondering if there is an "easy" way to randomize a 150+ image list?

Also, is there any way of pulling metadata info from the images directly?

    There are a couple different ways we could play files randomly. We can modify the autorun file so that when it plays files from the root it picks a file randomly from the list it created.



    A simple custom script could be created that would play files randomly.



    What do you mean by meta data? What specific information do you want to display along with the file?

    What are the commands for the autorun / custom script?





    In regards to metadata, I could see many uses.  Photographer credit, date created, client, location, etc...

    We don't current pull information from the files other than the names of the files. I will check if it's possible to do this. I'm not sure.

    Thanks for looking into it.



    Although, as it currently stands, trying to solve the randomize feature is more pressing...

    For the randomize, are you just trying to play those images fullscreen, but random? Is there any other requirement?
