Help - HD1010 no longer playing content

Our networked BrightSign HD1010 was sucessfully getting updates from initially a temporary HFS webserver when testing and also when migrated over to point to our MS IIS 7 webserver. However today it failed to play any content after I tried to publish new content for display whilst experimenting with some options in the Bright Sign Software.

It appears that the files are being served to the Roku box from the IIS logs however no content is visible on our Samsung 400DX-2 displays.

I've updated the firmware from 3.1.73 (as supplied) to the Version 3.1.73 Beta firmware hoping that might get a simple single image playlist working but unfortunately it did not. If I boot without the Flash card it shows the BrightSign Logo and correct version string, so I assume there is nothing wrong with the HDMI video connections.

Ok, Any suggestions/help would be most appreciated.

Are there any software patches to try or is there a way of doing a factory reset - as it was working with the original settings "out of the box".

Thanks

When the unit powers up, is the red error light flashing?

How about the busy light, does it keep flashing?

Are you saying you published a simple project to a flash card, inserted it, and you just get a black screen? Is it possible you picked a different resolution, one that the samsungs might not support? That would get you a black screen. Or, you used a supported resolution but with a refresh rate that the samsung didn't support?

If you open the autorun.brs text file on the flash card, you can change the loggingon setting at the top from FALSE to TRUE. Then, a log.txt file will be created on the flash card recording any errors.
