I see a setting in Brightauthor for 1920 x 1080 60P. I'm trying to make an inexpensive backup for a $62,000 DVS server that plays 20,000 1920 x 1080 targa files back at 60 per second. Yea, I know I'm asking alot, but since there's a setting for it, will it play one back? I put one on a card but it acted like a blank card and gave me the firmware ver. BTW, I made one 1920 x 1080 29.97P from the targa files and it looks fantastic from the HD1010. But when the subject moves fast, we can see it going from frame to frame. Other than that we could use the HD1010 as a backup in this application. Still I am amazed at the quality of the HD1010. Danny Hays

    There's no reaosn the 60p files shouldn't work. The 29.97 would probably look best if your video output is also at 29.97. Can you send me a sample file that doesn't work, at support@brightsign.biz?

    Lyndon, It isn't 60p video files, from what he's describing, it's loading 60 images per second, with 20,000 images on a card.

    First of all, Targa image files (TGA) aren't supported. Only BMP, JPEG and PNG files.

    I don't think any SD card is fast enough to stream 60 files at 1920x1080 resolution in one second.
    The other problem is that with a FAT32 formatted SD card, you can only have 512 files in the root directory.

    The only way to do this is to create a H.264 video at 60p resolution and use a video editing program to create one file that loops. Using minimal compression, it should be possible to create the 5.5 minute video and publish it to a card within a file size of 2GB.
