HD410 picture and video loop

Hello, i have here a HD410 player. I'm a newbie in scripting. I tried to play a picture once and after that a video file in loop. Is it possible with a playlist file? Looking in the sample files, i thought it might be possible using the goto command. But it's not working. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance

Is there a reason you're not just creating this in our brightauthor software? Here's a very easy to do brightauthor project. I have an image that plays first, in this case a blank image. You can see the little timer icon connecting the two. That means the image plays for x seconds, then the video players. I don't have a vidoeend attached to my video, so it plays in a loop. If I wanted the image and video to loop together, I would attach a video end to the video taking it back to the image.

Image plays once, then video loops.

Image plays, then video, then image, both looping.

Here's the project file from brightauthor 2.0

When you open it, it will ask you to locate the image file, and the video file used in my example.

The BrightAuthor don't let me drag in the files. (i have Windows 7 64 bit on my computer) But the picture shouldn't loop either. Thats my problem. The picture should only be shown once, and after it the video should loop alone.

It's not supposed to let you drag files into the window. You can drag files from the media library on the left side, over to the right. You can't drag files from the desktop or explorer. I'm also using windos 7 64 bit.

We have several videos on how the software works. What you want to create is an interactive playlist, not the standard playlist. YOu'll notice on the right side at the top of the white window, there's a small radio button that say interactive. In a standard playlist everything loops over and over again.

In the interactive playlist, you have to explicitly make connections. SO, the image plays once in my first example, because I never return to it. SO, image plays, and video loops.

    So, the steps are:

    1. In BrightAuthor, browse to the folder that has your files. Select the folder. This should show your content in the media library window.
This assumes your images are using extensions .jpg, .bmp, or .png. And, your videos are .ts, .vob, or .mpg. No other extensions are recognized currently.

    2. Select interactive playlist, and drag over your two files, one at a time. THe image should be brought over first.

    3. Click on the timer icon, and draw a connection from the bottom of the image icon to the video.

That's it. Now you can publish the project.
