time questions

Am I correct to assume that there is a built in clock in the HD210 unit? If so is there a way I can check to see what time it is set for? The time I want my project to be active in is EST. The network where the files are stored is MST. I am confused as to which time zone to use with the various features. 1.) do I select times to start and finish the playlist on the Publish Schedule to EST or MST 2.) Do I set the Unit Setup Network Properties Time Zone to EST or MST AND while I am inquiring please tell me how closely I may set the publish schedule? The default looks like 30 minute intervals. Can I set it for 10 minute intervals? Is there a reason that I should not do that? thanks mark

    There's a clock on the HD210W, not the 210.

You can check the time usually by publishing something to the unit that shows the date and time. The timezone you use is the timezone you want the unit to display the time in. It doesn't matter where the files are stored. When you publish the schedule your start and end, the unit will translate the time for the local time. So, if you're PST, and you set something to start at 8AM, then the brightsign will still start at 8am its time.

You can test this if you have a unit there with you. Change the timezone of the unit to some other zone, and then publish something that's not set to start until 4PM for example. If your unit is behind your local timezone, it won't start until it's 4PM on the unit.

You can set the schedule in smaller increments, down to a minute. Currently, the ui of the schedule doesn't make it easy to see something that's only set to last for 1 minute, at least not well.

Please explain how to schedule events in less than 30 minute blocks. For example 1 min, 5 minutes, etc..

    @ ra byn taylor:

You can type any valid hh:mm AM/PM value into the box, for example 12:34 PM
