What is the xml or file date that BS box to looks at to tell it to efresh the XMl feeds. I see the BS box has a feed_cache and fm_feed.xml . I see the file is correct in the cache. But I manually updated the xml feed file with a new pub date and time stamp. touch the file to change it's time stamp and the BS box calles into the web server. but never pulls down the new image that has been updated by my xml process. is the RSS Media widget on BS updating the feed based on xml publish date within feed? I need to know what to set for the BS feed time stamp to force BS 210w to download the new inage as this point I manually delete the image from the SD card cache directory and that made the BS 210w get the new image. Need more info.... thanks bill

  Can you remind me which version of brightauthor you're using again? THe retry time isn't based on the rss feed, but on the time set in the autorun script from brightauthor. I thought the default was every 10 minutes, but I'll have to check and see if it's set for longer intervals.

  So I under stand the BS 210W code has no regard for pubdate or TTL in xml for RSS feed itself.  but gets the RSS feed new on every call out on time set?  So it disregards any time setting in an RSS feed?

  I have updated it to run ever 15 minutes   you should see the time stamp in weather image on upper right increment.
