Remote Control Events in BrightAuthor

Hello, I'm using BrightAuthor 2.2.0.39 to construct some new playlists for a group of HD1010s. They need to have remote control functionality (I have the IguanaWorks IR adaptors / Roku Soundbridge remotes). If I have a list of videos (perhaps 20 or 30), is there a way to add remote control functions that effect all of them? Currently it seems that I have to create separate remote control events for each video in the playlist using BrightAuthor, even if the remote control events / functionality is the same for each video. Also - Is there a way to program a remote to advance to the next state, without entering the name of the next state? I need to have playlists that will involve some shifting around of their contents, and it would be best not to have to explicitly name the state of the next clip that the remote control fast forward button was programmed to advance to.   In the interactive window, where all your videos are, you can hit control A to select all, and then draw a connection to one file. Or, you can use control click to select some files and draw a connection to other files.
  
  I don't understand the second question. You can't jump to a state if you don't know what that state is.
