USB Hard Drive

Is it possible to use an external 500GB/1TB USB Hard Drive with the BrightSing? I know about BS can´t write at NTFS but, maybe just for playing content without using BA? ...with a script using BA 2.2 as I saw at another post? ... maybe formating the hard drive at EXT3?.... Txs

    I'm not sure what you are trying to do but I can tell you that my Fat32 drives work fine, but FAT32 won't support drives that large will they?

    Yes, it´s possible to format a 2Tb drive with a software called FAT32FORMAT.... you can find it at :

    But I´d like to know if could I use a 1Tb drive with BA, and files larger than 4Gb

    So you tell me you can use BA projects with big FAT32 formated drives?.. Maybe could be fine if it works with a Tb one...;

    Anyway, if anyone knows anything else...

    The idea is to make a TV Channel with a 24 hours x 7 days scheduled project, remotely updated, with videos, images, RSS,... but some video files could be 20Gb large-..

    You should be able to use a 1TB drive with it, but I don't know if a 2TB drive will work.  To use larger than 4GB files, you need to use BrightAuthor 2.3, and you need to format your drive as NTFS.
