I would like to sync 5 bright sign 210's with a 1010 as the master. The clip will be about an hour long. What kind of frame sync can I expect?
I've been trying to figure out if the brightsign units will work or not. I've been looking at another product called provideo player from renewed vision but that seems to be hit or miss with the sync. Sometimes I'm off as much as 9 frames at the end of the run. They tend to say that it "should" work fine but it just doesn't seem reliable.
I know that for true frame sync you need a unit like something from Alcorn mcbride with a genlock feeding it.
Before I purchased units I want to be sure that 1.5 or so frames would be the absolute worst case even for an hour long long video.
I was wondering if anyone else out there has used long clips without any issues
