Image Shift after publishing with Bright Author

First project using Bright Sign here... I have a recurring problem:

I use Bright Author to publish my content to an SD card, but when I play back the media using the HD120, the image shifts to the right.  I have to then go back into my workflow and compensate for the shift (I have to shift the image 44 pixels to the right) before publishing out again.

I'm using a video projector for playback, which is being mapped onto different surfaces, so it's absolutely critical that things are aligned correctly.  My final image is 1024x768

Is anyone else experiencing this?

My solution works, for now, but only because it just so happens that the right side of my image is black, so there is room to shift it.  If I was projecting full frame content, though, this would be totally unacceptable because the right side of my picture would be cropped out.

Anybody know why the image is being shifted?

Normally, when you see a shift like that it's because the projector doesn't like the video mode or frequency that you've set it to. That always seems to be the issue when the image shifts to one side only. What resolution do you have the brightsign set to in your brightauthor software?

    Thanks for the help

I'll have to get back to you on the resolution in Brightauthor because I don't have access right now.

The video resolution is 1024x768 60fps though

Hi Toofers, I have had this happen to me numerous times and I am yet to figure out why however, I did find that by restoring the box to its factory default settings, the problem goes away.

You can get the default setting file here: http://brightsign.zendesk.com/entries/21796878-how-do-i-restore-reset-a-unit-to-factory-default-settings

Good luck with it, and let us know how you went
