Adobe Media Encoder Presets?

I did some looking around, but didn't find anything, except a older reference to a Roku Preset file that isn't in the right format for AME.

Has anyone made a Adobe Media Encoder Presets file yet for BrightSign?

Or is there an existing preset in AME that is already setup for BrightSign players?

    I'm on Adobe CC for Windows, as that seems to be all that Adobe wants to support now.

    Since this seems to be one of the more common ways to encode video, and the Players seem to be somewhat finicky as to what video formats they want to play properly, it might be a good idea if BrightSign created a Adobe Media Encoder Presets file for the BrightSign line, that had all the proper settings in it for people to use.

    Please see the below parameters:

     

    -AME Encoding Settings for BS Content

    H.264 for Framerate up to 30p

    Video

    Profile: Baseline

    Level 4.0

    VBR 2 Pass

    Target Bitrate 10Mbps

    Max Bitrate 12Mbps

    Multiplexer : MP4

    Stream Compatibility: Standard

    Higher Bitrate For 60p

    Target Bitrate 20Mbps

    Max Bitrate 25Mbps

    Profile: Baseline

    Level 4.2

    VBR 2 Pass

    So this settings work for the model LS422 as well?

    Yes, but LS422 can't play 1080p60 video content. 1080p30 is the highest supported resolution (see settings for 30p).
