I need the 1230 to be able to receive a single byte through the serial port. I am sending a single byte from my microprocessor via an HMS TTL- rs232 adapter to control actions in the 1230. You had to change the autorun last time for the 410 for me.
Please help.

"Starting with BrightAuthor 2.3, you can receive bytes by setting the serial port to binary mode, under File -> Presentation Properties -> Interactive.
When sending or receiving bytes, you must use decimal values."
