Does the RF coax input also work with an DVB-C signal (as long as it is QAM)?

    No, dvb is not supported currently. You need atsc or qam input.

    As far as I know, DVB-C (don't know about satellite and terrestric DVB) is qam modulated (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVB-C)?! Will it work in a future firmware?

    Any change on this topic? Is there a DVB-C support now? I am using a XD1230.

    Hi Coly,

    The XD1230 is now a legacy product and therefore there is no new development on this product. Also please note that there are no players with a built-in RF tuner in the current product line-up.
