Ideas for locking units in temporary installations?

For those of you that use BrightSigns in temporary installations, how have you been securing your BrightSign units?

BrightSign staff; although the majority of BrightSign units are permanently installed, for many others it would be nice if your engineers would consider adding a Kensington Security Slot to the case of BrightSign units in the future, if possible.

Thanks!

I think this is the first request I've seen personally. IN the past, It seems security related requests normally centered around the security of the sd card.

Some customers have kiosks units are in, or the units are out of site and mounted to a wall or they're mounted to the back of the display. I'll email out sales group to see if any of our partners have locking solutions.

I often use, for myself and for one of the companies I freelance for, BrightSigns for Digital Signage displays for meeting schedules that are in hotels or convention centers just outside of rooms in common hallways.  The displays (42") are typically in portrait orientation on dual post stands, and the BrightSign units are attached with velcro or double sided tape to the back of the display or the stand, wherever convenient and hidden if possible.  These displays are up typically for 2-5 days.  We often use small loops of aircraft cable through one of the screw slots on the sides of the units, with a small padlock.  Not the neatest of solutions, but at least a little piece of mind.

We also use them for tradeshows in a similar manor, and sometimes they can be placed in a kiosk or cabinet that can be secured, but not always.

The Kensington style locks that are common for laptops and small computers would be ideal, but I understand that adding this slot to the case of the BrightSign units may not be possible because of component clearances inside the case.

Just a suggestion of something to consider adding in the future, if feasible.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the input. I pinged to sales guys to see if any of our vars or integrators have anything they use that might help as well. I've logged a development request to get some feedback on what additional can be done, if anything.
