Skip to timecode

Hi,

is it possible to skip to a specific timecode in a video using brightauthor? I can't find any way of doing it currently.

Essentially I want to use a GPIO button press to skip to a specific point in a video.

 

Alternatively, is it possible to skip between videos (with no sound) in an interactive playlist seamlessly (e.g. no black screens)?

    Are there any plans to implement this in the future? I would have thought that it's a relatively basic piece of functionality that would be very useful for a lot of projects.

    @Chris,

    The way the ticket is framed it definitely won't happen. BrightAuthor is reaching end of life.

    I haven't seen it implemented in BrightAuthor:Connected either.

    I looked at the docs, and I could achieve this with a really nasty BrightScript hack. 

    However, JavaScript/HTML playback is the best way to do this.

    If you want to stay within BrightAuthor Classic or brightAuthor connected, the seek function of the Rotate-and-Seek plugin will do it, but there's a bit of a delay, and it'll seek only to the nearest I-frame.
