Firmware 3.10.22 on HD210/HD210w doesn't honor presentation background color setting

After upgrading to firmware 3.10.22 on our HD210 and HD210w we no longer have the white background that belongs in our presentation.  I'm using this firmware in order to support BrightAuthor 3.5.0.22 to unify administration of our three different player models.

Our HD220s use the white background, but the HD210w has a black background and the HD210 has an orange background.  This hides our clock text and transparent logo.

I've completely formatted and re-loaded the SD cards but it doesn't help.  I've also triple-checked that the presentation settings are correct both in BrightAuthor and in the presentation file itself.  Has anybody seen this behavior or does anyone have a suggested fix?

    So, the same presentation displays differently? Can you upload a sample presentation that shows the issue?

    Yes, the exact same presentation, distributed to multiple players via a local network publish.  The HD220's show white, the HD210w shows black, and the HD210 shows dark green (not orange, my mistake).  I've attached the current presentation we're running.

    Try adding the Background image zone to presentation, and add white image file to Background image zone. White image should be 1920x1080.

    This workaround has temporarily resolved the issue.  I've published the new presentation to our players until a firmware fix is found.

    On a related note, there seems to be a bug in BrightAuthor.  When a background layer zone is selected for editing, the Media Library browser does not display a refresh button to look for changed media files in the active folder.  If you switch back to my main content zone the refresh button reappears.  This happens in 3.5.0.22 and 3.5.0.24.

    Refresh button in the file selection for the background image zone will appear in BrightAuthor 3.6.0.5 and later versions.
