Does anyone know how subtitles are supported by the Brightsign HD120? I'm thinking of the adding SRT files to a ts file using TsMuxer, instead of burning them in to the video stream. Would the HD120 be able to play the subs?

Alex The brightsign won't decode a caption from a video. You have to burn them into video stream
Or the caption could be in a separate text file. You could then write a script to parse the text file and insert the messages over the video during playback.

Jeremy Littler Is this feature going to be added to the video player widget. It's 2018 and accessibility features should be fully implemented and not some sort of awkward work around using raw text files.
