After creating Dynamic Playlists and uploading to BrigthSign Network, is there a way to open the "uploaded" Dynamic Playlist to edit slide transition timings? Or must you always have a local copy of the Dynamic Playlist file in order to edit changes? If you must have a local copy, it makes it very difficult to have several people manage content from different machines on different networks.
Yes, you can edit the "uploaded" Dynamic Playlist. You need to sign into your account at www.brightsignnetwork.com, click on Create tab, select Dynamic Playlist menu, find a dynamic playlist you wish to modify and press Edit button. Here you can change the playback order (position of the media files within a playlist), apply different durations to images, upload and add new files to a playlist. Once you finish, press Save button. You can also assign the permissions to the users to be able to access and modify a specific dynamic playlist on your account. To do that, click on the properties of a playlist and go to Security tab. More details in this faq and Web UI permissions user guide.
you can't change transitions though; correct?
