Timeout Issue in Interactive Presentation

When creating an interactive presentation on an HD1010W v. 3.11.11, using BrightAuthor v. 3.7.0.37, I am unable to adjust the timeout settings on my media. The unit is connected to the network via wireless, and I am able to successfully push different versions of my presentation to the unit, unfortunately all with the same result.
I am using still images and live text, and regardless of what I adjust the time out between events to, the first event plays for roughly a minute, the second for about six seconds, and the third for about one second; even if I re-arrange the events and adjust the time outs in between them.

I've tried swapping out the unit, the SD card, and using a different computer with BrightAuthor; all with the same result.
Can you tell me why this is happening?
I've attached screenshots of my workflow:

Unfortunately, given the number of text items you’re attempting to display, the HD1010w is just not what you need for this. The CPU is not powerful enough. If you were to switch to the XD series, you should be getting better performance then.

Please simplify your project and optimize the content for the zones. If you want more flexibility in handling unprepared content, move to XD players.

I have the XD players but am having the same issue.  It won't time out of the live text event and go to the next live text event.

    Craig,

This is most likely a different issue. Please export your presentation and send it for review. This FAQ tells how to do the export:
