I am brand new at using the Brightsign XD1030. I wish to control my units with a 3rd party control system. This system can control an Alcorn Mcbride DVM 8400. Is there a way to set up the XD1030 to basically have it receive commands like a Alcorn Mcbride DVM8400? I don't know anything about scripting. As I have dug through the forum, it seems like some kind of script needs uploaded to the XD1030. The problem is, I don't know anything about scripting. And, is that what I want to do? I have read that Brightauthor can set the XD1030 to receive commands, however I have not found anything as detailed or explained in a way I can understand yet. Any suggestions out there?
