File expiration/Skip on date/Image priority

Hey,

I searched around for a bit, but is it possible to stop/skip an image file on a date?  IE show promotion slide until March 23?

    Hi,

    Not yet but this will probably be possible sometimes this year. Unfortunately I'm unable to give you a date when this feature would be available.

    Has there been any further progress on this? We like the idea of BrightSign, but our scheduled items overlap in ways that would only be practical with independent start/end dates per item.

    Hi Joel,

    It's possible to specify the validity dates for the contents in the Dynamic Playlists, Live Data and Live Media feeds.

    This is BrightSign Network WebUI User Guide.

    (see BrightSign Network paragraph).

    Search for "validity" in the BSN user guide, and you will see how to setup the validity dates.

    Hey guys,

    Just curious if there's been any development on this feature.  I have several clients that would greatly benefit from a way to expire or control a single piece of content (i.e. a still image or video) with a date/time. 

    I understand that a validity option exists for dynamic playlists and live data, but having the option within a BrightSign presentation would be ideal.

    Hi Joe,

    Validity dates for contents in a presentation is not supported. You can add contents to a Dynamic Playlist, specify validity dates, and then add a Dynamic Playlist to a presentation.

    HI, Has there been any update to this? 

    We are using LS423's and want to upload content for a certain period and it must be removed at a certain date.
