HTML - BA 3.8 - PORTRAIT MODE

Hi,

In my projects with BrightAuthor 3.7 and portrait mode, I rotate 90 degrees the HTML files. Now, the new version 3.8 rotate 90 degrees all the HTML pages in the presentation but really seems that the new version rotate the zone in the layout.

For some presentations it is a problem because I can't create a little zone in the bottom of the layout because when the BrightAuthor rotate the zone, the HTML page can't be fixed in the bottom of the portrait.

Is it possible don't rotate the zones with HTML pages in the new version 3.8?

Attached the layout of my project with problems. The image zone named Weather containts an HTML page. When this project are published, the zone appear 90 degrees rotated.

Thanks!!

Setting the Monitor Orientation of a presentation to “Portrait” in BrightAuthor 3.8.0.27 now rotates all HTML pages in the presentation to portrait mode. I think you can create the HTML page that points to your main page, and rotates it. You would need to be familiar with HTML.

The problem is when I insert an HTML page in a zone 130x356px (portrait mode) the zone change the orientation and appear 356x130px (90 degrees rotated). If I change the page width and the page Height in the HTML file, the problem is the same.

You can test the problem inserting any local HTML or URL in a presentation with portrait mode.

Attached a sample of my problem. Please, see in the layout the zone 6 (Weather). If you insert a picture, the zone is shown 130 x 356px. If you insert any HTML, the zone is shown rotated 356 x 130px.

Seems impossible insert HTML in portrait mode with the new version because the layout change.

    Thanks!!

I'm having the same issue trying to position the weather widget on a Portrait layout.  Has this been resolved from last year??
