Script to change unit setup details.

Is it possible to change one aspect of a units setup without affecting other settings?

In this case, modify an IP or Timeserver without having to go through the setup process again.

    You should be able to directly modify the unit's settings by accessing its registry via brightscript coding.

    Yeah, It is on my 'to-do' list. You really should have the option to be able to modify these settings via the DWS once you have setup the unit. Seems like a waste of the tool.

    Manually configuring network on each player doesn't scale up nicely. Configuration via DHCP may be a more efficient way. If you need to, you can assign each player a static IP by its MAC address.

    I'll log a feature request to change network settings via local networking. It's currently supported via brightsign network, so I assume it should be doable via local networking as well.  I believe we already have a feature request for changing settings via dws.
