Assistance with text files.

Hi! We just purchased the Brightsigns system. We are a private independent school and plan to use a zoned display.

In one zone, I plan to have a calendar listing using a .txt file - 3 lines per event (name, date, times). How do I properly build the .txt file (line breaks)? I have made 4 separate text zones to pull in different text files. How do I time each text zone to appear after the one above is completed?

Or should I be using variable text? if so how?

Please advise - we need this functional ASAP.

    An xml file would be easier to parse and use in brightauthor. A text file can be used in a ticker zone, but it's paragraph format only, it doesn't pay attention to line breaks and formatting. You coud use excel to export an xml file that a custom plugin could be used to parse. 

    There's a livetext tutorial video on our training site that goes into detail about how livetext works. Send us a sample xml file, and we can put togeter a plugin to process it.
