    In BrightAuthor 4.0.0.8 in the Properties for a Live HDMI Input for example...

    Or on the properties tap of a normal image state... i think its in all states in BrightAuthor 4.0.0.8

    This option should only be available within HTML5 states. From the BrightAuthor User Guide (4.0):

    • Enable native video plane playback: Enables HWZ mode on all <video> elements contained within the page. This increases the frame rate and quality of HTML video playback, but can also cause problems with CSS page transforms and other page elements. By default, it will also place the video on top of all other video and graphics in the presentation. For a complete explanation of HWZ mode, refer to the HTML5 Best Practices (5.0) guide.

    Actually, the Enable native video plane playback option is available for numerous states in an interactive presentation in BA 4.0.0.8 (image, video, Live Video, MRSS). This is a bug, and this option will not affect any state but HTML5 (as mentioned above).
