I use Brightsign HD120s and 220s for very basic video loop presentations, i.e. a single video that loops continually. I currently use a basic brs or bsp file which I create in TextWrangler on Mac OS X but have been told that recent firmware updates will force the Brightsigns to only play SD cards authored with BrightAuthor. This sounds incorrect but I don't want to risk updating all my players to find that I have to re-author all the SD cards! Can anyone advise? Thanks!

Julian We don't have a software version that forces the BrightSign unit to only play the presentations that were built in BrightAuthor.
You can create a video loop simply by copying the videos to a flash card. These videos will play in alphabetical order.
