HD222 Component Out Settings

I am assuming the HD222 outputs composite video over the VGA connector using a VGA to component adapter with the CV signal on pin three, the blue output.

I am unable to get signal here, I think its a presentation setup issue. How do I force a composite output to the VGA pin 3?

In presentation creation I provide a 720x486 NTSC 29.97 files, select VGA connector and component out but all I can get is a super fuzzy split inage.

 

HELP!

  It seems contrary, but you should select HDMI as the output connector and NTSC-M as the output type.

  That will get you Composite on the Blue VGA pin on the VGA output.
