Media RSS feed in Synch with Text Rss FEED

Hi there,

i looked around here a lot but found no hint, how to get it done.

what i would like to have is this: 1 mediafeed with images of products in the background - the productimages are managed by the BSN Mediafeed (so i can setup duration, visibility and change content easily)

Now i would like to show according to the images the current item-price - either by displaying a second feed (text feed) on top OR by displaying the "Description" or a custom field from the media-rss.

but i found no way to synch the two rss feeds - is there a way to trigger a event by changing content which is shown by a feed?

i can easily zonesynch and zonemessage by play the product files simple in a image zone - but how to get this done by using feeds?

any suggestions would be great!

Hi Daniel,

You can create a Live Media feed on BSN account, and play it in the Live Text object in BrightAuthor presentation.

In BrightAuthor:

- go to Media Library > other > add Live Text widget to interactive playlist (video or images zone)

- in Live Text widget select Type = Media RSS Feed

- click on "Media RSS: Description" text region on the right

- uncheck "Display Media RSS title" on the left

- adjust regions where to show images and text in a zone (you can overlap text on image)

- press "Update Media RSS URL List" button > Add Data Feed > select "Live Media Feed", specify feed name and update interval

BrightSign will show images, and text (from the description section of the live media feed), which you can update using the BSN Web UI.
