Videos out of proportion and cropped

Hi,

I've tested every possible option in BrightSign author to correctly display a 1920x1080 mp4 via an XD232 on a 1920x1080 tv screen. All modes result in a video that is out of proportion and cropped (the top). I've upgraded the XD232 to the latest version and also tried to connect my macbook via the HDMI cable that's connected to the tv screen...same video plays perfectly.


What could be the issue?

    Hi Maarten,

    It sounds like your presentation may be set to output a non-native resolution/rate for the display, and your display is applying additional scaling/cropping.

    Please export your presentation (File>Export name in BrightAuthor) to a new folder, then send us a download link using WeTransfer, Dropbox, Hightail, etc in a support ticket to support@brightsign.biz

    That will allow us to properly track your issue an ensure things don't get lost in the forum/email pile.
