HTML5 Site Renders From Dropbox Public URL, But On Local Intranet I Have Nothing

I have an HD222 unit that is hooked up to a local network. I am trying to test publishing HTML5 scenes to it, but am running into a bit of trouble.

I can publish my test HTML site to my public dropbox folder, and use the public URL for the HTML5 event, and it renders just fine on my test unit I have setup at my desk. However, if I publish the html on our intranet, it just shows up black.

The unit is on the same network as our intranet, and we can ping the unit, and the network diagnostics are all good. Even if I try to put the main index page of our intranet as the URL and publish, we don't even see any IP traffic from the unit whatsoever.

I'm running the latest firmware and software on the box and BA.

Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Bobby,

The forum is oriented mainly to get community support. For official support and to be properly tracked for future inquiries, please submit a support ticket.  Click Contact Support at the bottom of http://support.brightsign.biz/

It would be useful to know the exact firmware and BrightAuthor version you're using as "latest" can change from one day to another, and we often have both release and beta versions available for download.

It sounds like your player may be blocked from internal sites, or you are using a proxy and it is not set up to route internal requests.
