Enable remote snapshot without removing SDCard

Hi support team, The players is not within my reach butI can remotely login to web server of each player and a PC with BrightAuthor that launches player’s presentation. Is there any way I can remotely configure players to allow remote snapshots? Like edit registery or other ways? Thanks! Lawrence

    Are you looking to enable taking single snapshots manually by interacting with the player's web page?

    Hi Folks,

    I want to able to see the snapshot thumbnails on BrightAuthor “Manage” tab.

    Instead of trying to hack the registry, you could simply repeat the player's setup process remotely.

    Since you have access to players through DWS, you could remotely repeat the player's setup process with an autorun.zip file. Instructions can be found here:

    Since there is the risk of losing access to a remote player, it is recommended to first test with a player which is right next to you :)

    If you've got a newish SW version on the player you can edit the registry directly on the DWS. You should be able to see the existing settings under list registry and then update them on the player.
