I have a brightsign player that does not work with poe (power over ethernet). All of my other players work with poe. Is there something I can check or enable on it in the device?

Brandon Official comment PoE is always active - it cannot be enabled/disabled at this time. Check that your switch's power budget is not being exceeded, and also try a different Ethernet cable as a faulty cable can prevent PoE operation.
We have also seen LLDP interfere with PoE power negotiation and cause a half-boot loop in some cases, so try disabling LLDP for the port at the switch level to see if that is your symptom.
The PoE circuitry is separate from the wall power DC input, so it's possible for PoE to fail but DC input to continue to operate.

Gerald Holdsworth My XT1144 just worked on PoE without any configurations.
It does say in the documentation that there are certain restrictions (because of less power available) when powered via PoE.

Scott Levine I have tried multiple network switches that work with other Brightsign players. I have also tried different cables. It works fine with the power cable, but I would prefer power over ethernet. I will send the instructions you mentioned to our network support team.
