Connection Issue with BrightSign Player After Proxy Change

I have a BrightSign Player configured on a network that uses a proxy. Previously, the configuration was as follows:

  • Proxy: http://10.21.84.13
  • Port: 80

With this configuration, the Player worked fine and maintained communication with the server. However, a proxy change has recently been made, and it is now as follows:

  • Proxy: paprxystores01.homedepot.com.mx
  • Port: 8080

After applying this new configuration, the Player loses communication with the server.

I have verified that the domain resolves correctly and that communication exists. From the proxy side, we have also validated access to the necessary resources and handlers for BrightSign.

My question is: Is port 8080 compatible with the BrightSign Player? Or is there any additional validation or configuration that I need to perform for it to work with this new proxy configuration?

Any suggestions or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
