BA:connected: Cannot publish from different computer

HD1025 Player provisioned over bsn.Content

BrightsignOS 9.0.168

I can schedule and publish presentations from a Mac, OSX 12.6.8 running BA:connected 1.47.2 without problems. But now I need to switch control to a different computer, a PC running Windows 11 Pro (23H2) with BA:connected 1.47.2. I can connect to the player and reprovision it, the schedule gets published but it does not take effect on the player. Nothing happens.

What could be the problem here?

    Running BrightsignOS 9.0.168 as mentioned, reinstalling BA:Connected on the Windows PC did not change anything, windows account has administrator rights, Windows Firewall is off, Computer and Player are in the same network.

    There also seems to be a general issue with scheduling and provisioning this player. Schedule changes do not always take effect, even from the Mac. The only way to reliably get it to update the schedule is to reprovision the player every time major schedule changes have been published.
