USB wireless adapter working on HD1024?

Got hold of a BrightSign HD1024(OS 8.5.53.2) to learn how to use BrightAuthor. Trying to deploy a webpage to a touch screen to see if i can setup a web-based kiosk. All I got is a blank screen and no wifi light. which lead me to realise there's no built in wifi. and I dun have any ethernet ports I can use. I was able to connect my phone to the BrightSign as a BrightSign Mobile/USB Tether, which gives me internet access—but that is not what I need. I got hold of a Archer T2U Nano AC600 Wireless USB Adapter, but does not seems to detect the adapter at all. Any ideas on how to fix this?

BrightSign sells the WD-105 wifi/BT card.  Take the 1024 apart and it inserts in a slot on the mainboard.  Plumbing is already in place for the antenna connectors.  You can buy it retail from other sources as well.

They also sell a cellular USB modem.  Needs a data plan.  https://www.brightsign.biz/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/BrightSign-mobile-Dec2023.pdf

And you could buy a CradlePoint cellular modem.  Also needs a data plan.  IBR200/IBR650.
