Working on a project were I have multiple players at various locations throughout a large company. We would like to have one Bright Author file that we you to publish to all locations so that the style and design stays the same throughout the company. the other reason we want to use 1 file is so we dont have to change 50 different files if something changes. Within the BrightSign project there will be one zone that is designated for local content that individuals from the local office can load content to. My initial thought was to have a dynamic playlist for each location so that we can assign users access to make changes to the content in their local playlist. I then want to be able to dynamically play a certain playlist based on a location we set for a player. This is where I am running into a road block and could use some insight if someone has done something similar.

^UD\_$ Wouldn't BrightSign Network Tags be useful here?

Brandon If you have a Dynamic Playlist for each location and know the player serial numbers (which you do, as it's the Unique ID in BSN's Properties for the player), you can use a Local Playlist state in BrightAuthor. That will let you select which Dynamic Playlist is used for each player based on its serial number.
Friendly reminder, the forum is intended for user-to-user discussion. For troubleshooting problems and to ensure a timely answer from a BrightSign representative, please submit a support ticket. -
Bright Scripters Scaling up gracefully to 50 location, is a challenge. A single file for all, is the way to go.
