Loading .brs and Media Files from a Network Location to Local Storage

Hello,

I have two questions.

1. Is it possible to write an autorun.brs that downloads (and executes) another .brs file from a local network location, at runtime (when the machine boots)?

This would enable a fleet of Brightsigns running the same slave script to be updated rapidly during development, in our setup, without the need to update individual .brs files on each machine.

2. What is a line of Brightscript code to download a media file from local network storage to an individual Brightsign's local SD card?

For instance if I wanted to download a file titled 'test.mov' that is located in a folder 'share' on a machine with address 192.168.1.99?

Do I need to work with roAssetFetcher / roAssetRealizer?  If so is there an example script that you could send (simply for transferring video files of known file names from a network location into local storage / to be ready to play back)?

Thanks!

S
