WARNING: *** stream underflow detected!! (consider playing with increased latency

Hi guys,

I am streaming live channel to my brightsign and the video, audio is very choppy. I have to reboot the Brighsign XT3 everytime this happens and then it will be okay but the issue will come back again after a few days.

I retrieve this error from the logs:

[31914.573] FireEvent 26 UNDERFLOW (line 598) web player_id 1
[31919.573] WARNING: *** stream underflow detected!! (consider playing with increased latency) ***

Anyone else experience this? Where and how i can adjust latency?

    I am now receiving this error message in the logs.

    "FireEvent 26 UNDERFLOW (line 598) web player_id 1"

    Any help would be much appreciated guys.

    We also have the same error on some of our XT1143 devices while streaming an MP4 file from the local wired network.

    I got the same error with udp multicast using HTML5 video with below config. Video, audio is very choppy with below error on the BrightSign log. May I know how to resolve the below issue.

    I searched many different posts on adding latency, jitter, acdsize etc but it cannot resolve the issue

    It seems that the buffer of the video object may be overflowed. We can resolve sometime by restart the device. 

    Would you please suggest any resolution on this issue. Thanks

    Hi,

    Just wondered if anyone was able to get this resolved. We are also getting this error and have tried a number of different latency / jitter settings.

    It seems each time we play the multi-cast results differ -  it plays perfect sometimes and other times we get jitter

    WARNING: *** stream underflow detected!! ***
