XT243 Interactive Presentation

Hi,

I have been using the XT1143 player for a while now and my department puschased an XT243, which I now realice doesn't have USB port.
I've been reading that it can be done by adding a GPIO connector, so now I have to questions:

-How different is it to create an interactive presentation for the XT243 than for the XT1143?

-Is it now irrelevant to have a touch display (Sharp PN-L401) if I'm going to be using the XT243?

    I can't imagine a way to do touch on the player without a USB port.  Using the XT ffor its ability to handle complex HTML?  Could you use the XD1033?

    No, we've already bought the XT243 and have installed it. I guess it'd be much better to replace it with a player with usb port than creating the presentations in html cause they are in constant change.
