Rotating through different videos

I have a client with 5 video ads that I am looking to rotate through in the same spot on my non-interactive playlist. So, the first 5 playlist rotations will be unique videos and the 6th rotation through the playlist, it will be the first video again.

Thanks,

Rob

    Could you clarify please?

    5 Videos: A, B, C, D, E

Will the playback order be as below?

    A, B, C, D, E

    A, B, C, D, E

    A, B, C, D, E

    A, B, C, D, E

Okay, I have the following 5 items in my playlist. With the number indicating the advertisements that we want to rotate through.:

    A, 1, C, D, E

The second time through the playlist is:

    A, 2, C, D, E

Third, Fourth, Fifth times through the playlist:

    A, 3, C, D, E

    A, 4, C, D, E

    A, 5, C, D, E

Sixth time would be back to the first:

    A, 1, C, D, E

Right now I have it coded so the playlist contains 25 items where I would like to cut it to 5 items with one rotating through the 5 video ads.

    Thanks,

    Rob

    Much clearer. Thanks.

That is easily done in a more manageable way.

Create a loop of states in BrightAuthor, consisted of:

Video A --> Video List for adds (1 to 5) --> Video List for C,D,E

The trick would be to set the adds Video List, so it doesn't play from the beginning, each time it is transitioned to.

The Video List for C,D,E, would be set play from the beginning, every time.

Worked like a champ. I think my stumbling block was trying to get a video playlist to work without going into Interactive mode. As I don't consider this type of playlist interactive. I figured Interactive meant for touchscreens. Thanks Bright Scripters!
