Buttons with GPIO not functioning

Hi All,

Trying to get these buttons to work with my XT1143 Brightsign player:

we have the GPIO terminal block: https://www.brightsign.biz/digital-signage-products/accessories/GPIO-terminal-block

But none of the connections seems to be sending power to the buttons. I found this article:

http://docs.brightsign.biz/display/DOC/XTx43+Hardware+Interfaces So I know to try to use pin 2 or pin 8 for power.. but getting nothing.

    I believe I answered this elsehwere but your buttons required 6 volts, but the player only outputs 3.3v for lights/leds, etc when powering from the gpio port. You need different buttons or some hardware between the player and buttons to satisfy the power requirements.
